Notre Prophète Mohamed (saaws)

Muhammad (sala Allah Alayhi Wa salam)  was very religious for a long time, he detested the decadence and idolatry of the society in which he lived.The Mosque of the Prophet Muhammad in Medina.

At the age of forty, Muhammad(Sala Allah Alayhi Wa salam) received his first revelation from God through the angel Gabriel.The revelations continued for twenty-three years, and together they formed what we know as the Qur'an.

 

As soon as he began to recite the Quran and to preach the truth which God had revealed to him, he suffered with his small group of disciples of persecution from unbelievers.The persecution grew so fierce that in the year 622, God commanded them to emigrate.This emigration from Mecca to Medina city, located about 260 miles (418 km) north, marks the beginning of the Muslim calendar.

 

After several years, Muhammad(Sala Allah Alayhi Wa salam) and his followers were able to return to Makkah where they forgave their enemies.Before Muhammad died, at age sixty-three years, most of the Arabian Peninsula had become Muslim, and less than a century after his death, Islam had spread to Spain in the west, and as far east as China.Among the reasons for the rapid and peaceful spread of Islam, there is truth and clarity of its doctrine. 

The prophet Muhammad (Sala Allah Alayhi Wa salam) was a perfect example of an honest, just, merciful, compassionate, truthful and brave.Though he was a man, he was very far from having bad features, and he struggled and made every effort of love for God and His reward in the afterlife.Moreover, in all its activities and its relations with people, he always had the fear of God and the desire to please Him.
